Hari Parmar joined Marvell in August 2019 as Principal Automotive System Architect.

 

He brings over 10 years of experience working with Jaguar Land Rover where he was a lead Electrical Architect. He was instrumental in introducing the Distributed Vehicle Architecture concept, where ethernet would play a vital role for the next generation of vehicles.

 

Previously Hari was Vice President of a fabless semiconductor manufacturing company, C&C Electronics, where they introduced the first Fiber Optic infotainment systems into Mercedes and Jaguar. He has also worked in Flight Controls Systems and was part of a team that developed advanced fly-by-wire and fly-by-light avionics systems for civil and military aircrafts.

 

Hari has also founded two companies - one a consultancy providing automotive software and hardware services and the other a company that developed aftermarket Automotive Digital Radio (DAB) products.

 

He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University of Lancaster (UK).
